Girl power in Lier

While the new World cup season kicks-off in Oslo, the CSI2* indoor season in Belgium kicks-off in Lier. This morning it were the ladies that took home the prizes. Dutch Lisa Nooren won the 1.35m-class aboard Caractere. The pair was followed by Belgium's Leoniee Peeters and Sunny Girl. Aniek Poels and Quantine de la Roque followed in a third place. Then the man came in, as the top five was completed by Koen Verdegem (Harry van Egenhoven) and Hendrik Denutte (G Star du Cartier). With the young horses one man stood above all. Jos Verlooy and Dulf van den Bisschop-son Douwe took home the victory. Compatriot Axelle Druyts had the lead until the second but last combination in the arena. In the end she finished second with her own Ellexa De Nuit (by Zirocco Blue Vdl). Lisa Nooren followed in a third place with Dienellie (by Berlin). Yesterday's 1.30m Price Equnews was claimed by Julie De Pelsmaeker. Aboard she finished faultless in 21.82 seconds.
