At the Land Rover Grand Prix of Bordeaux, France, it became a battle of the dutchies for the victory. In the end it was Harrie Smolders with his beautiful Emerald N.O.P. (by Diamant de Semilly). The combination flied to the win in a fast time of 33.06 seconds. Taking second place was fellow Dutch rider Jur Vrieling and his VDL Glasgow v Merelsnest N.O.P. (by Nabab de Reve) with whom he finished in 33.62 seconds. French rider Simon Delestre finished in third place with his Gain Line ((by Stolzenberg) with whom he came across the finishline in 34.60 seconds. Completing the top five we found Robert Whitaker in fourth place with Catwalk IV (by Colman) in 34.68 seconds, followed by a fifth place for Swedish rider Irma Karlsson and her Ida van de Bisschop (by Kashmir van Schuttershof) in 34.72 seconds.
