This week the North American top riders gather at the 'holly North American' ground for show jumping; Spruce Meadows. At its first day the event took a dramatic start. Double H Farm's HH Memphis spooked in its first class and broke his leg. The owners, rider and vet were unable to help out the white horse. On their Social media Double H Farm announced: "In loving memory of HH Memphis. This morning Memphis was competing in his first class at Spruce Meadows and had a freak accident, breaking his leg. We were unable to move him and the prognosis for recovery was very poor. We'll miss him very much and are grateful for having gotten to know this special guy." The 10-year-old gelding was active under the saddle of Quentin Judge. Last year the pair placed third at the CSI3* World Cup in Bromont. Our thoughts are going to the owners and rider.
