The fifth week of the Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera ended with the breathtaking Big Tour Grand Prix. This CSI4* Longines Ranking class with a height of 1,55m also counted as a qualifier for EU-CH Rotterdam and the Olympic Games of Tokyo next year. Very good news for the Brits, because Holly Smith took the first place with Hearts Destiny.

Eight combinations started in the jump-off, five of them went clear. Holly Smith was the fastest with her nine-year-old AES-bred Hearts Destiny. This offspring of Heart Throb jumped to the first place in a fast 39,07 seconds. The French rider Penelope Leprevost and Vancouver de Lanore (Toulon) followed in second place in 40,08 seconds. Dutchman Henk van de Pol just needed 40,25 seconds with Looyman Z (Numero Uno) for his third place, Marcel Marschall and Utopia 48 (Concas Z) finished fourth.
