'Horse & Friends Event': Bertram Allen unstoppable in finale for 7-year old horses

At the 'Horse & Friends' event in Opglabbeek, the finale for the 7-year old horses as just been ridden. Once again it was the Irish rider Bertram Allen who won the prize 'Lansink Sporthorses' with Christy JNR (Indoctro). Christy is a former horse of Jos Lansink. Together with Ashford Farm, Lansink owned the horse before he came under the saddle of Allen. Allan already won the competition of Thursday and Friday with horse and he repeated that today. This time, a jump-off had to decide about the winners. Allen was the second rider to enter the ring and he immediately rode a very fast round, putting a lot of pressure on the next competitors. In the end, no other combination could ride a faster clear round than the 29,36 seconds of Allen. The second place went to Jos Verlooy. He and Japatero VDM (Eldorado vd Zeshoek) rode a clear round in 30,02 seconds, leaving the wood untouched. Henry De Wulf ended on third plas with Bellefleur PS Z (Berlin). They jumped a clear jump-off in 31,02 seconds. The Dutch lady rider Roosje Brouwer jumped a clear in 31,53 seconds. This resulted in a fourth place for her and her Josephine vd Bisschop (Tornedo Fos). Derin Demirsoy completed the top five with Je Suis Va Bien (Toulon).
