In Opglabbeek, the 1,40m class has just ended. This class was sponsored by Stoeterij Dorperheide and eventually it was Olivier Philippaerts who took the victory back home to Dorperheide. Together with Ikker (Ogano Sitte) Philippaerts was the fastest in the jump-off. He went fast as lightening and finished in 36,83 seconds. The Japanese rider Taizo Sugitano stood on the lead for a very long time. He and Heroine De Muze (Tinka's Boy) jumped a fast jump-off in 38,47 seconds but eventually he had to take peace with the second place. Maikel Van Der Vleuten and Dana Blue (Mr Blue) completed the top three. Bernardo Alves ended with Itsi Pitsi Van'T Kathof (Dore van'T Zorgvliet) on the fourth place. Pascale Haep took account of fifth place with Iris Van de Bisschop (Kannan).
