In Birmingham, the Horse of the Year Show is still going. The afternoon, a 1,45m class was scheduled. This class was ridden in two phases. Eventually it was thé unbeatable lady rider who took home the victory. Louise Saywell had saddled her Chicago Z son. She rode Feigtling in 31,50 seconds to the first place. Second place was for James Smith and Balibu (Baloubet du Rouet). They jumped a clear second phaese in 35,59 seconds. Shane Breen completed the top three with Tango D'Ecry (Negus de Talma). They kept the wood untouched and finished in 37,28 seconds. Gerik Gulliksen ended on fourth place with David Guetta (Zento). They jumped a clear second phase as well and crossed the finish line in 38,24 seconds. The rest of the top ten colored all British. William Funell and Billy McCain (Cevin Z) ended on fifth place.
