The Longines Global Champions Tour of Antwerp has started this morning with the 'Prize Equnews'. The victory of this class, with fences built up to 1.20 m, was for the Belgian Ines Van Den Bosch with Flaneur. Van Den Bosch rode a very fast round and finished clear in 34.86 seconds. With this time she was almost 3 seconds faster than Ellen Celis with Waikiki 5. They crossed the line in 37.81 seconds. In the first class, it were the ladies who ruled the show, the top 3 was completed by another lady rider... Camille de Bellefroid and CS P My Pleasure ended third after a clear round in 38.62 seconds. Beirens Yannick finished fourth with AW Zidane (39.48 seconds), Karin Oris ended on fifth place with Daviana (41.12 seconds). The Belgian riders started strong in Antwerp, the top 9 colored all black-yellow-red. Sophie Geurts (Calida) and Vincent De Reys (For Ever van de Helle) ended respectively on sixth and seventh place. Melissa Laenen finished on number eight and Charlotte Peeters rode her Heartbreaker daughter Unica to a ninth spot. The British rider Pollyanna Gredley completed the top 10 withUnex Clintan MB.
