Ireland's Alexander Butler on top in MET GP qualifier

Oliva Nova continues his MET Autumn Tour with the 1.45 Longiens Ranking CSI2* class today. A total of 69 combinations took the start. Ireland's Alexander Butler and the 10-year-old Hallowberry Cruz( by Cruising) topped the class after a clear finish in 66.64 seconds. The Irish Sport Horse gelding added over 6,000 euro to its international earnings, bringing the total on over 34,000 Euro in the past two years. Belgium's Constant van Paesschen followed as runner-up with the 8-year-old KWPN-horse Astro Boy. The Sarantos Son and Van Paesschen crossed the finish in 67.76 seconds. Marie Demonte and Royalty du Genet (by Diamant de Semilly) followed in a third place. In total 15 combinations crossed the finish faultless. The top five was completed by Great-Britain's Richard Barton and the Ukato-daughter, Donata in fourth and Anthony Condon with Balzac (by Oklund) in fifth place.   In the 1.35m Great-Britain dominatd the class. Chloe Aston jumped to victory aboard the 13-year-old Coronado-mare, Cecilia. After a clear finish in 58.45 seconds she advanced on Ireland's Anthony condon and the 8-year-old KWPN-gelding Dakar RS (by Berlin). David McPherson and Dicas (by Diarado) completed the stage. Fellow country rider, Ellen Whitaker followed in a fourth place aboard Virginia (by Centauer Z), while Emma Augier de Moussac completed the top five with Copia. In this class no less than 38 combinations crossed the finish faultless.
