After Calvino II De Nyze from Thibeau Spits already moved to Janne-Friederike Meyer, the Dutch rider - sponsored by Iron Dames - can also expect two new talents in her stable.

As such, Jérôme Guery's former ace, Come Away Flamingo  moves to Thijssen's stables. The 10-year-old Zangersheide mare will henceforth be known as Iron Dames Come Away Flamingo. Together with Guery, the daughter of Cardento last competed internationally in May in Shanghai. The duo placed on the podium twice there. Last year, Guery won in Rome with the mare and also claimed victory in an international 1.40m CSIO5* class in La Baule!

Additionally, thanks to Thijssen's sponsor, Keiralanda VDM has been secured for Thijssen's sporting career. "I had this mare in my stable for a while. But she developed so well that the sponsor ensured the mare for my future career..." Thijssen tells our editorial team.
