Italians triumph in Arezzo's Young Horses

Image367(1)Not only in Spain but also in the Italian Arezzo another week of the Show Jumping Tour has started. Course Designer Elio Travagliati prepared some nice courses for the Young Horses allowing Nicholas Channing-Williams and his six-year-old Chacana L to ride to victory in the six-year-old horses class. After a clear Jump-Off in 29:56 seconds both had a lead of over 2 seconds on Ole Meland Kristoffersen and Carsall who finished in 32:07 seconds; Belgian Evelyne Hermans and Baccara vd Richter finished third with one second lead on Matteo Zamana and Hyakari. The seven-year-old horses got dished a course against the clock. Vincenzo Chimirri and Kimtender della Verdina (s. Contender) made the finish in 63:25 seconds, straight enough for victory. Natala Chiaudani and Slu della Magnifica (s. Stakkato) made it to the seconds place while Thomas Voss and Weihrauch CR ended third after a clear round in 65:98 seconds. Last week this combination had to be satisfied with a fifth place. Romanian rider Norbert Schuman (Lagerfeld, s. Lauterbach) finished fourth while Belgian rider Dennis Caubergs and his Casijgje vh Russeltveld were happy with a fifth place. © equnews.com
