Italy still in the lead of the Nations Cup ranking. Rob Ehrens positive about the Falsterbo win...

As the 6th leg of the FEI Nations Cup series saw the Dutch show jumping riders jumping to victory, it is still Italy that is in the lead of the Nations Cup ranking with a total of 345 points. The Netherlands take some necessary points leaving the latter two spots, placing 6th at the moment. After their Nations Cup victory both Rob Ehrens and Jur Vrieling were positive about the win...

Rob Ehrens, Chef d’Equipe, NED (when asked why he chose Jur Vrieling for the jump-off today): ”He’s the most experienced rider in the team and his horse was already warmed up and ready to go as they were the last pair out in round two. I know Vrieling is a very fast rider.”

Jur Vrieling NED, talking about his horse VDL Glasgow - “He has an unbelievably top character, he’s the nicest horse in the stable not just because of the results he gets but the way he behaves. I adore him!”
