Jan Tops' stable rider, the Italian Piergiorgio Bucci has impressed the crowd at the first CSI2* 1.45m Grand Prix at Jan Tops' competition place in Valkenswaard, the Netherlands. A total of 20 out of the 72 starters qualified for the jump-off. Bucci and Canto-mare Cuarta stopped the clock clear in 37.10 seconds. The pair set the fastest time out of the 12 clear jump-off finishes. USA's Hilary Mc Nerney did her best with Z Acodate DDL (by Acord II) but finished over one second slower, placing second in this GP. The combination was followed by Belgium's Show jumping Champion, Karel Cox and Cor van de Wateringhoeve. Cox's compatriot, the former Spruce Meadows GP-winner, Pieter Devos tacked up Apart.
