While The Nations Cup is claiming all the attention, Belgian Jan Claey's competition at the 'Longines Spring Classic of Flanders' can't be spoiled anymore. After winning the first day's 1.30m class, the Belgian rider rode to victory in the 1.40m. Aboard the 13-year-old Charmeur van het Kloosterhof (by Fuego du Prelet) he finished in 63.53 seconds. Johnny Pals and the 12 year old Waronetta (by Cantos) followed in a second place. The pair set the time at 65.74 seconds. Leaving STX-rider, Lorenzo de Luca and Tabou Z in the third spot. Bart Clarys (Gentille) and Gregory Wathelet (Lilly Lordanos) completed the top five. Already taking home two victories, Jan Claeys was unstoppable today, riding to victory in the 1.30m as well. This time together with the white Blackmail JB (by Berlin). Geoffry Geerts (Hamilton) and Frederik Dekens (Fursa van den Dael) completed the stage in this class.
