Only a couple of hundrets of seconds faster as Belgian Young Rider Constant Van Paesschen and his 9-year-old Citizenguard Million Dreams (by Diamant de Semilly). The stage was completed by Olympic Champion Steve Guerdat and Albfuehren's Memphis (by Quinar), after setting the time at 61.30 seconds. Simon Delestre (Whisper) and compatriot Kevin Staut (Oh d'Eole) followed in a fourth and fifth place in this spectacular competition. In the 1.50m competition it was American Kent Farrington and Willow (by Guidam) who claimed victory. Dutch Jur Vrieling (VDL Bubalu) and Beezie Madden (Simon) followed on a second and third spot in this class.
