Twenty riders chose to take on the difficult $2500  1.35m Open Jumper Classic course this morning at Thunderbird Show Park in BC, Canada. Many competitors were challenged by the course, riding into and through the triple combination opening with an oxer followed by two tall verticles. The open water leading to a another tall vertical also became a factor of elimination from advancing into the jump off. As a result, three riders were successful in completing the course fault free and proceeding to the 8 obsticle jump off track. First up was Karly Lowe with her bay partner Zidane B who jumped clean setting the time bar at 45.38 seconds. Jeff Campf was the next rider to challenge the jump off  and Karly's time. He and his black steed Wiberra kept the turns tactfully tight and fences up slightly rubbing the last rail posting a fast time of 43.97 seconds, taking leadership from Karly. Gareth Graves (Babette) was the third rider in the jump off starting with a very fast pace. Unfortunately the team knocked  the back rail of the fifth oxer out of the cups  locking Jeff into first place and Karly into second.
