It was a full crowd during yesterday's CSI2* Grand Prix at the Azelhof in Lier, Belgium. The jumps were set at  a height of 1.50m and a total of 74 combinations took the start. Only ten however produced a clear basic round. Eventually it was Belgium's Jeroen Appelen who secured the win aboard Aikido Z. The pair finished in 34.61 seconds. Bronsilav Chudyba and Extasy III followed in a second place after a finish in 35.52 seconds. Swedish Daniel Zetterman and Acapulco Z followed in a third place. The top five was completed by Ann Carton Grootjans (Funcky Music) in fourth and Dutch Carry Huis in 't Veld (Dame Blanche) in fifth.   In Deauville it was France's Edward Levy who ensured a home win. Together with Starlette de la Roque (by Jumpy des Fontaines) he stopped the clock in 39.76 seconds.  Mario Wilson Fernandes and Saltho de la Roque (by Kannan) finished as runner-up after a finish in 40.45 seconds. Only seven combinations qualified for the jump-off. Four produced a clear round. Third place was for Reynald Angot and Symphonie des Biches. Vincent Lambrechts and Biarritz des Hauts Droits (by Nabab de Rêve) finished fourth as slowest clear round in the jump-off.
