With the beautiful Eiffel tower in the back, John Whitaker put a smile on his face this morning. The sun was shining, temperatures were already heigh and John Whitaker and Ornellaia were in shape. The pair finished their morning class in 24.40 seconds, taking home the win. Swiss Jane Richard Philips and Pablo de Virton followed in a second place after a clear round in 24.84 seconds. Veredus-rider, Marcus Ehning (Cristy) finished third. The jumps were set at ta height of 1.45m. And the class took an early start at 8.45am in the morning. Still it didn't freighten the competitors who finished with 22 in total without making a fault. The top five was completed by Australia's Jamie Kermond (Yandoo Oaks Constellation) and France's Philippe Rozier (Rahotep de Toscane). STX-rider, Daniel Deusser followed in a sixth place. Best North-American rider was Lauren Hough who tacked up Ohlala. A clear finish in 28.86 seconds, brought the pair on the 7th spot.
