In an exciting Pan American Cup, presented by Rolex, six horse-rider combinations classified for the jump-off. With the fences set at a height of 1.60m, it was American Kent Farrington and his KWPN-horse Uceko (by Celano) who were the fastest double clear. The pair won the cheque of $132,000. Compatriot Ward McLain and his 13-year-old Rotchild (by Artos Z) finished his jump-off in 36.66 seconds, over one second slower as Farrington and Uceko, ending second. Dahan El Sameh and Sumas Zorro ended third setting the time at 37.29 seconds. The top five in this cup was completed by Quentin Judge and Gregory Wathelet's former 12-year-old BWP-horse HH Copin Van de Broy (by Darco). The pair was the slowest clear in the jump-off. John Perez and Utopia made it to the fifth place having one fence down in this second round. Also Charlie Jayne and Chill R Z (by Chellano Z) jumped four faults together. The time of 39.86 seconds placed them sixth. In the All Canada Ring it was the 1.45m Meadows Derby Cup who brought the big sorts. Irish Kevin Babington and Goodwins Loyalty rode to civtory after a clear round in 105.941 seconds. America completed the stage with Nick Dello Joio (Fiego van de Zonnenweide) and Will Simpson (Axl Rose) in a second and third place. Best Canadian was Lisa Carlsen with her 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare Worlds Judgement (by Judgement). The pair finished clear in 115.367 seconds.
