Kevin Staut tops the main class in Basel

To conclude the first day at the CSI5* in Basel the jumps were set at a height of 1.50m. A total of 12 pairs from the 52 starters finished faultless in this class. Finishing in 55.35 seconds, Kevin Staut was about 2 seconds faster as the runner-up. Together with 12-year-old Elky van het Indihof HDC (by Toulon), Staut took home the 12,500 Swiss Frank win. Sergio Alvarez Moja and his wife's Carlo 273 (by Contender) followed in a second place after a clear finish in 57.13 seconds. The pair was followed by Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and Unita Ask (by Corrado) in a third place. The top five was completed by two home-riders, cheering up the home crowd. Jane Richard Philips (Dieudonne de Guldenboom) and Paul Estermann (Lord Pepsi) took in the fourth and fifth place. CLICK HERE FOR THE RESULTS
