The Winter Equestrian Festival is on full speed, today USA's Laura Kraut en her new 10-year-old Belgian Warmbred, Gipsy King (by Wandor van de Mispelaere) took the win in the 1.40m Illustrated Properties $6,000 class. Kraut and her partner bought half of the horse in September 2015. The other half is still in ownership of Belgium's Valentijn and Audrey de Bock. A total of 3 horse-rider combinations qualified for the jump-off. Kraut finished about 6 seconds faster as David Arcand and Vledder who also finished clear. Marie Engle and Codex 22 returned home with a third spot, jumping one rail down in the jump-off. The top five was completed by Ward McLain (Tine Le Boheme) and Cesar Almeida (Chaco 34).
