In the Spanish Vejer de La Frontera course designer Santiago Varela Ullastres builded a nice, yet technical course for the 37 starters in the 1m40 competition against the clock. Finishing in a time of 60:26 seconds the British Laura Renwick triumphed on the back of the 7-year-Old Reine du May. Leaving Caio Sergio jun. Carvalho and Born To Win (s. Baloubet du Rouet) on the second place after his finish in 61:81 seconds. Argentinian rider Fidel Segovia and Vlorien (s. Orame) finished in 62:16 seconds, good for a third place. With less than half a second difference the Belgian rider Fabienne Lange Daigneux and her Reine Fee des Hazalles finished in fourth place, followed by Timothy Page and Steady the Helm.
Earlier today is was alsoa British pair that triumphed in the 1m35-competition. Mark Armstrong and Lavaletta made the finish in 56:11 seconds, riding to victory. Pedro Veniss and Q Royal Palm Z ended second followed by Timothy Page and Duc d'Arsouilles. The pair made the finish in 56:90 seconds and were followed by yet again a Brit. Philip Miller and Arthur ended their course in 61:03 seconds, giving them the fourth place.
