For a while it seemed that Maikel van der Vleuten would be the one to beat with his Dana Blue (by Mr Blue). With a time of 39.77 seconds he took the lead. It was however Martin Fuchs who as last starter of the jump-off took the competition with his Chaplin (by Verdi TN) with whom he completed in 39.49 seconds.
