Leopold van Asten on top in Helsinki

Dutch show jumper Leopold van Asten followed up on his compatriot Jur Vrieling's win in Helsinki yesterday by taking the victory in the CSI5* Helsinki Grand Prix. Riding VDL Groep Quinthago Z (Quinar Z x Carthago Z), Van Asten was one of nine riders making it to the jump-off in this 1.60 class where he yet again rode a clear round beating runner-up Daniel Deusser on Clintop (Clinton x Calvaro Z) from Germany by 0.17 seconds. Third place also went to Germany, as Hans-Dieter Dreher finished 0.48 seconds behind the winning time aboard Cool and Easy (Contender x Riverman). Also double clear to finish fourth was Ireland's Shane Breen on Undicci (Camiell-Flamingo Z x Cardento), while fifth went to yet another German rider - Patrick Stühlmeyer on Lord Lohengrin (Lordanos x Diskus).
