Lorenzo de Luca speeds to victory in Drachten

In Friday's big class, the 1.50m Roelofsen Horse Trucks, ironically it was Stephex rider who speeded to victory. Aboard Limestone Grey the Italian show jumper finished the jump-off in 37.65 seconds, taking home the win. A total of 11 horse-rider combinations proceeded to the jump-off. Only Five pairs made it a double clear finish. Leopold Van Asten made the home crowd cheering up. The Dutch show jumper and his 12-year-old VDL Groep Quinthago Z (by Quinar) was long on top of the list. They finished clear in 38.09 seconds, eventually taking home the second place. Van Asten's compatriotWillem Greve followed with Carambole N.O.P. (by Cassini I). The top five of this 1.50m class was completed by Dominique Roelofsen with Gioia Van Het Neerenbosch and Belgium's Annelies Vorsselmans with Hermes De Mariposa in fourth and fifth place.
