Young rider Lucy Deslauriers (USA) takes another victory at the International Bromont ahead of 25 participants on Friday July 29th in the FEI Assante Classic. Course designer Guilherme Jorge (BRA) once again created an excellent course for the participating riders, as 25 horse-rider pairs took the start in the event.  Nine of those qualified for the second round. Leslie Howard, experimented rider, led Donna Speciale, a young 8 year-old mare with master hands. Second pair on the course, they are the first to complete a clear round. The jump-off is quickly confirmed as Fernando Martinez (MEX), Ali Wolff (USA), Lauren Tisbo (USA), Richie Moloney (IRL), Lucy Deslauriers (USA) and Peter Leone (USA) successfully get through the first round. With her young horse, Leslie Howard clocks in a time of 39.94 seconds, leaving the door opened for two other riders, Lucy Deslauriers and Ali Wolff. After a seventh place in the Québec Original opening event, the young rider gave it her all. With an unbeatable time of 37.96 seconds in her second clear round, she once again gets to the winning circle at the International Bromont, with Hester, for the third time in two years. At just 17 years of age, Lucy will unfortunately not be allowed to compete in the Longines FEI World CupTMJumping event in Bromont on July 31st.
