Not everybody has had his say about the way and the person of Philippe Guerdat. Also showjumping-rider Ludo Philippaerts regrets the departure of the Swiss legend.
"I regret Philippe Guerdat leaves our team when the need is greatest," states Ludo Philippaerts. "It is known that I was not always sharing the same thoughts as Guerdat. Occasionally You have to disagree to ensure a progress. Further I have to admit that, nevertheless the failure to results, Guerdat was a very good national teamchef. He stimulated the showjumping sport in Belgium by giving the yought a chance."
For the last worldcup compeition with Guerdat as a teamchef Olivier Philippaerts will be a Belgian representative. Even more there is a slight chance Ludo will also compete among the top riders. Both father and son will try to make it to the top 18 for the World Cup Finals in Ghotenborg in April 2013.
