Madison Goetzmann wins CSI2* Grand Prix of New York in front of home crowd

The CSI of New York has started it's last day with two 2* competitions this morning. The CSI2* Grand Prix has just ended and the victory went to the American lady rider Madison Goetzmann. Goetzmann was the fastest in a 13-rider-jump-off with her 12-year old gelding Prestigious (f. Con Cento). Prestigious left the wood untouched and finished in 32,82 seconds. With this time the were over two seconds faster than Jonathan Corrigan and Loughnavatta Indigo (f. Luidam) who cleared the course in 34,94 seconds. Lindsay Douglas ended third with Butterfly Tibri Z (f. Berlin). They finished in 37,16 seconds and jumped a clear round. Mackenzie Wray and Jewel LVP (f. Berlin) ended on fourth place. Georgina Bloomberg and Cessna 24 (f. Contagio) followed on fifth place. The American rider Katherine Strauss suffered from a very bad fall in the jump-off. We hope she will be recovering very soon and hope to be able to give you a new update about her condition very soon. Earlier today the finale of the 1m20/1m25 competition was ridden. Joanna Wolffer won this class with Antonov (f. Casantos) under the saddle. She was the fastest in the jump-off and jumped clear in 26,13 seconds. Sima Morgello, who already won a class this weekend, ended on second place. This time she saddled Azur van Overis Z (f. Adiamo) to clear the cours in 26,68 seconds. Ariel Bluamn and Euophoria completed the podium. Bluman and her 10-year old mare jumped a clear round in 26,69 seconds.
