One of the main courses today in the Brussels Stephex Masters in Belgium was the 1m45 five star. This two-phases course fell prey to Dutch rider Maikel van der Vleuten aboard the ten year old Idi Utopia (by Quasimodo Z). The combination was the strongest in the field with a time of 27.33 seconds. They stayed ahead of UK's Scott Brash and his Hello Senator (by Carambole) with whom he finished in second place in 28.39 seconds. In third place it was then the world's number one rider Harrie Smolders aboard Une de l ' Othain (by Conterno Grande old) with whom he finished in a time of 28.97 seconds. Completing the top five we fount in fourth place for France Aldrick Cheronnet aboard Tanael des Bonnes (by Watch Me) followed by a fifth place for Marcus Ehning and Comme IL Faut 5 (by Cornet Obolensky) with whom he compleyed in 30.70 seconds.
