Set between 1.50m to 1.60m, 21 pairs passed the round with clear rounds, which left the placings be decided by the timings. It was German rider Marco Kutscher aboard Cornet’s Cristallo, whom set the quickest time of 56.90 seconds. Runner up position went to French Kevin Staut and Quismy des Vaux HDC when they crossed the timers at 57.68 seconds.
