After all ten legs in the Longines FEI World Cup Western European league have been completed, Marcus Ehning is on top. Collecting 81 points, Marcus ranks as number one ahead of Scott Brash in rank two with 69 points. Then following sixteen riders on the ranking are; Pius Schwizer (63 points), Patrice Delaveau (61 points), Maikel van der Vleuten (55 points), Edwina Tops-Alexander (53 points), Steve Guerdat (51 points), Kevin Staut (48 points), Roger Yves Bost (45 points), Billy Twomey (40 points), Luciana Diniz (40 points), Joe Clee (39 points), Lars Nieberg (39 points), Nicola Philippaerts (38 points), Tim Gredley (36 points), Lucy Davies (36 points), Christian Ahlmann (35 points) and Francois Mathy Jr. (34 points).   The eighteen best riders from the league qualify for the final in Lyon in April. In addition to the above mentioned riders, rank 19 Michael Whitaker and rank 20 Hans-Dieter Dreher should normally be taking spots for the final as Australia's Edwina Tops-Alexander and America's Lucy Davies have both obtained cross-over points and should qualify from their respective leagues in accordance with the World Cup-rules, but this has not yet been confirmed by the FEI.
