Canada's Langley CSIO4* Grand Prix coloured USA thanks to Margie Goldstein-Engle. After the USA Hermes showjumping team claimed the FEI Nations Cup victory, Goldstei - Engle secured a USA win in the 1.60m Grand Prix. Aboard the 13-year-old Royce (Cafe au Lait x Grandilot), Engle jumped a clear round in 39.11 seconds, referring Ireland's Conor Swail with his Belgian Warmblood horse Flower, by Bon Ami, to the runner-up position. Together with the Bon Ami-mare, Swail stopped the clock in 39.11 seconds. Compatriot Daniel Coyle followed in a third place with Cita 42 (by Casall ASK) after a clear finish in 39.47 seconds. Andrew Bourns ensured an Irish party with his fourth place aboard CHS Inception. Bourns and the 9-year-old Clover Flush-son stopped the clock in 41.49 seconds. Half a second faster as Mexico's Antonio Maurer. Together with the Belgian bred Galileo de Laubry (by VDL Cardento) crossed the finish in 41.99 seconds, placing fifth.
