AlbertZoer_CHIORotterdam_2010Today the international competition in the Dutch de Steeg kicked off with a 1m30-competition. Although the Dutch riders dominated the competition it was the British Mark Armstrong who took home the victory. Aboard the 13-year-old Holsteiner mare Lavaletta II (s. LAvaletto) Armstrong finished his second phase in 22:43 seconds. Albert Zoer and Abra Kadabra (Vancouver x Calvados) followed in a second place after a clear round in 22:56 seconds. The stage was completed by yet again a dutchmen, Wout-Jan van der Schans and his 8-year-old Annalita (Argentinus x Libero H). The top five was completed by the Irish Michael Kearins and Aplaus Toltien (s. Indoctro). Melvin Greveling and Monaco (s. Democraat) finished in a fifth place. In total not less then 75 pairs got into the jump-off, where 64 of them reached the finish without touching the wood. For the results click here © equnews.com
