It was the French rider Mathieu Billot who was the fastest with the ten year old gelding Saphir des Chayottes. They stayed clear in a time of 60.64 seconds. Home rider Victoria Gulliksen rode the eight year old Billy Blue Bell (s. Billy Congo). They finished without penalties in 60.95 seconds. Brazil's Adir Dias De Abreu Junior also stayed clear with Chirocco (s. Sir Shutterfly). They had a time of 62.14 seconds. The top five was completed by Johan-Sebastian Gulliksen with Chaloubet (s. Balou du Rouet) and Eduardo Alvarez Aznar with Bjorn H (s. King Kolibri). They finished in 63.02 seconds and 64.12 seconds. Earlier today Belgium's Maartje Verberckmoes won the CSI2* 1.40m against the clock with Buutengewoon (s. Quattro). They stayed clear in 60.86 seconds.
