The third day of the third week of the Rocky Mountain Show Jumping series couldn't count on a shiny sun. Nevertheless there were happy, smily faces all over the show ground. The horse spirit kept going on with this wonderful organised competition. The rain was on and off and most classes could compete in the dry. Unfortunately during the $1,500 1.40m Open Jumper the 'floodgates' were opened. In the end it was Megan Beunder and RRC Black Magic who claimed the victory. Susan Latiff (Tamara) followed in a second place while James A. McDonald and Dennison completed the stage of this class with 6 horse-rider combinations at the start. In the 1.30m $1,000 HITS Jumper class the weather was relatively dry. Jacqueline Colborne and Peninsula Riversong was the first one to set a clear round in this speed class. However Karly Lowe and Zidane B set a faster time claiming the victory. Jim Ifko and Dublin street made it to the third spot after jumping together four faults.  The top five was completed by Shoshana Weiss (Mercedes) and Asia Brown (Imperial 76) both finishing with 1 jumping fault. Before the 1.20m class the 1.15m class table A with seperate jump-off was divided in two classes, both worth $300. Winners were Ally Penis aboard Casper and Friesen McKenzie and Peninsula Fly Boy.
