At the international competition in the Southern French town Bourg-en-Bresse it was Michel Robert and Oh D'Eole (s. Kannan) who took home the victory. The pair finished their jump-off in 46:76 seconds, good for a cheque of 23.100 Euros. The Italian rider Lorenzo De Luca and Zoe II (s. Kannon) followed in a second place after a clear round in 48:34 seconds. The stage was completed by Daniel Neilson and Varo M (s. Pierrot) who ended second in ex aequo with Lorenzo De Luca.
Reynald Angot and Opera des Loges (s. Fetiche du Pas) followed in a fourth position, proceeding on Piergiorgio Bucci and Casallo Z (s. Casall) who completed the top five.
