Cian O'Connor (IRL) has made his debut in Wellington with a new horse. In the 1.35-1.40m classes, the Irish showjumper competed aboard the Oldenburger stallion of the year 2021, Checkter (Cellestial).
O'Connor and the 10-year-old stallion already made a clear finish in the 1.35m class. The stallion was produced at an international level by Gilbert Böckmann. Together with the German rider, the stallion competed at a 1.50m level in the summer of 2022.
In 2021 Checkter was announced the Oldenburger stallion of the year. In 2018 he received the Hauptprämie for his test results and quality of his offspring.
