The Longines Global Champions Tour season has officially kicked-off under a bright sun. This morning (local time) the CSI2*-riders were the early birds to compete their 1.15/1.20m class. With the sea in the background it was USA's Olivia Lawton and her grey mare Cassandra Dreams (by Cassiano) who claimed victory. The combination just wrapped up a succesfull WEF experience. Now they finished the track in 25.60 seconds, leaving the other 37 combination behind them. Logan Marksbury and the 12-year-old Nabab de Rêve-son Evano S, did their best taking short turn and high risks. The pair crossed the finish faultless in 26.77 seconds, following as runner-up. Argentina's Francisco Arredondo Gaitan coloured the third spot. Aboard his stallion A. Touchantille (by Tigo) he still cached 225 euro with his third place. The top five in this class was completed by Jack Morgan (Talinka 5) and Deborah Perkins (Girlpower 111) in a fourth and fifth place.
