Already winner of the 2006 Grand Prix with Fastourel du Cap, French Norman rider Timothée Anciaume finally did a fantastic come-back winning this edition 2015. Returning to competition after a one month arrest because of back problems, Timothée signs here a very good performance in a jump off facing 12 opponents. Early in the morning, the small class (1,40m) sponsored by Armor Lux has been winner by former French team members, Olivier Guillon and Lord de Theize. Two awards were presented at the end of the show: Best Female Rider to Caroline Nicolas (FRA) and Best Rider to Harold Boisset (FRA), winner of 2 classes this weekend. 9 years later, the French Norman signed a new success on the banks of the Allier River. Yet the one who regularly makes the bright days of the French team has put the stirrups again only two days before Vichy, victim of back problems. Penalized by 5 faults on Friday with Olympique Libellule, he finished 5th Saturday of the second qualifier for the Grand Prix with the stallion Padock du Plessis. Certainly among the favorites for the Grand Prix (the couple has been fourth in the Grand Prix of Bordeaux and Chantilly, 3rd in Le Touquet and 5th in St Tropez) he had facing him many opponents, 12 to be precise, qualified for the jump off. 13 privileged, as the age of the first two horses in the final standings, Olympique Libellule and Vidar, the mount of the young Spanish Santiago Nunez Riva, in great shape for his first Vichy. Last to go the Irish Captain Michael Kelly, against all odds, played placed to finish third, with a very international podium in this 19th edition.
