FEI_NC_ALAINAfter the first two legs of the FEI Furusiyya Nations Cup in division 2 it are Austria and Finland who are in the lead with a total of 75 points each. Sweden takes up the third position while Denmark and Belgium share a joint fourth place with 72 points in total. In total Divison 2 counts sixteen teams. The teams can only count their scores from five out of the eleven legs. The next leg will take part in Drammen, Norway, the coming weekend. Italy, Norway, Sweden, Russia, Belarus, Finland and Turkey will battle it out for points in the third leg of the series. The Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup is a modernised version of the 'older' FEI Nations Cup series. In every qualifying competitions each country can collect the necessary points for the NAtions Cup Finals. The first place receives a total of 100 points. The second 90 points while the third gets 82 points. Further the following points system is used for the qualifying competitions: 4th - 75 points, 5th - 70 points, 6th - 66 points, 7th - 65 points, 8th - 64 points, 9th - 60 points and 10th - 59 points. © equnews.com
