Paterson-Robinson takes fantastic win at CSI Ommen

In an exciting first serious test it was Australian James Paterson-Robinson that grabbed the win in the two-phase class over 1.45m. This victory is a nice confidence boost for the rider who is based in the Netherlands but will be representing Australia in two weeks during the Olympics in Rio. With only 8 years Daylinde (Zirocco Blue) he was sligltly faster as Belgian Jeroen  Appelen who filesto the Herkant (Oklund x Darco) crossed the finish line 0.06 seconds later in in a time of 28.55 seconden. German Kaya Lüthi clocked 28.89 seconds with her horse Camaria (Chacco Blue) and took hold of the third place In the 3 * Small Tour is was Appelen who won the DGB-energy (1.40m) with Wildcard (Numero Uno). Dutch Kirsten Rikkert finished in second place with Chaperon (Quaprice x Goodtimes), in front of Albert Zoer who took Drum Drum to the third spot.
