The crowd showed up and filled the convention center in Los Angeles. The riders could count on a cheering audience. With the jumps set at a height of 1.55m a total of 12 horse-rider combinations returned for the winning round. Kirsten Coe and California (by Cassini I) set the bar finishing clear in a very sharp time.
In the end it was Patrice Delaveau's amazing round aboard Carinjo HDC (by Cascavelle) that set the fastest time. With only 0.02 seconds difference, America's favorite, Ward McLain and HH Carlos Z (by Chellano Z) came in close but eventually finished second.
Edwina Tops Alexander and Lintea Tequila (by Campbell) came in last in the second round. The pair ensured the excitement taking in the third spot. They put Z-rider Christian Ahlmann and Aragon Z (by Askari) into the fourth place.
The USA completed the top five thanks to Quentin Judge aboard HH Whisky Royale.
