Patrice Delveau triumphs in Hong Kong

Judy Ann MelchiorFrench rider Patrice Delveau just rode towards a victory at the Hong Kong Masters opener. In the 1m45-class Delveau finished his round without faults in a time of 59:50 seconds. On the back of his Landgunje-stallion Lacrimoso 3 HDC he received a cheque of over 8.000 USD. Swiss-rider Pius Schwizer and Verdi III (s. hors La Loi II) followed in second place with a time difference of over 1 second. Marc Bettinger was happy with a third place. Together with the 10-year-old Phenix Royal (s; Ecalgrain) Bettinger finished his course in 61:19 seconds. Also clear but not fast enough was the Dutch rider Marc Houtzager. His 12-year-old Sterrehof's Uppity (s. Guidam) made some amazing jumps towards the sixth place. Belgian rider Judy-Ann Melchior finished 12th. With Carry Z (s.
