PATRIK SPITS AND BELLISSIMO Z TAKE THE LEAD AT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 7-YEAR-OLD HORSES

At the FEI World Championships for young Show Jumping Horses it is Belgium’s Patrik Spits who won the first Qualifier. Spits tacked-up the Zangersheide-bred Bellissimo Z (by Bamako de Muze). The pair crossed the finish in 27.98 seconds. Almost one second slower followed the Bulgarian Rossen Raitchev and Csf Mr Kroon (by Kroongraaf). The stage was completed by yet again Patrik Spits. This time aboard the Belgian Warmblood-mare Jacobien Dwerse Hagen (by Va-Vite).   A total of 63 combinations finished their first qualifier faultless. Only 48 are placed for the nex qualifier, taking place tomorrow.
Max Thirouin and the BWP-horse Jewel van de Kwakenbeek (by Cicero Z) placed fourth after  finish in 28.84 seconds. The top five was completed by Koen Vereecke and Jativia (by Cardento).
