Philipp Weishaupt claims first place in Helsinki Classics

In Helsinki, 37 riders jumped for victory in the Helsinki Classics tonight. In the end it was German Philipp Weishaupt on Call Me Eva (Chacco Blue x Stakkato) who proved himself the best. Weishaumt finished in 57,08 seconds on the bay Hannoverian mare, almost 1,5 seconds faster than Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and Extra van Essene. Maikel van der Vleuten and VDL Groep Quatro (Quaprice Bois Margot) finished in 59 seconds which earned them a beautiful third place. Steve Guardat and Urzo d'Iso came in fourth for Switzerland. Spain also claimed a place in the top five, with Manuel Fernandez Saro in fifth place. Click here for the complete result.
