Philipp Weishaupt claims first place of CSIO5* 1,55m GP qualifier Rotterdam

At 3 pm local time today in Rotterdam, it was time for the CSIO5* 1,55m. This class also counted for the Longines ranking as well as a qualifier for the Grand Prix of Rotterdam later this weekend. It was German rider Philipp Weishaupt who beat all of his competitors aboard Lesson Peak, a twelve-year-old gelding by Lord Z. In 36,61 seconds they beat Portugal's Luciana Diniz and Isabeau (Winningmood). They stopped the clock in 38,42 seconds. Henrik von Eckermann picked Cantinero (Dobel's Cento) for this class. They finished third in 38,56 seconds, just before home rider Leopold van Asten and VDL Groep Miss Untouchable (Chacco Blue). William Whitaker followed in the fifth spot with Lammy Beach (Beach Ball).
