Belgian rider Pieter Clemens proved to be the fastest this evening at Indoor Drachten. With Loiza (v. Lord Pezi) he won the CSI 3* Big Tour. The 1.50 meter course attracted a mix of both national and international riders. Clemens showed great control during the first round and continued his great form in the jump-off. In only 41.16 seconds and a clear round the victory was his. Also in form was Leopold van Asten with his horse VDL Groep Miss Untouchable ( v. Chacco-Blue). He takes home the second prize thanks to two clear rounds in a time of 41.64 seconds. His second round was a crowd pleaser as it was obvious at least one Dutch rider would be in the top three as soon as he finished. Third place was for Peder Fredericson from Sweden. He guided H&M Zaloubet (v. Maloubet de Pleville) smoothly to a clear round, stopping the clock at 41.79 seconds. Spanish rider Manuel Fernandez Saro was almost at the start of the list this evening. Ensuring a jump off early in the evening. In the jump-off he showed a fiery round with U Watch, cutting corners where possible and setting the bar high. His result 41.98 seconds ultimately awarded him a fourth prize. Last in the top five was for the Dutch rider Peter Olthof. In the first round he was clearly pleased with his clear round, giving a shout out and hugging his horse. This enthusiasm was also shown in the jump-off. Doma Sue (v. Dollar du Murier) showed to be in great form and jumped a clear round in 43.75 seconds. For all results click here
