Pius Schwizer continues his winning streak in Basel

A beautiful sportive program concluded today with the 1.50m Longines Ranking class in Basel. No less than 22 combinations qualified for the jump-off. None were a match for the local hero of the week, Pius Schwizer. Aboard the 10-years-old Balou Rubin R (by Balou du Rouet), Schwizer crossed the finish in 44.54 seconds. Belgium's Niels Bruynseels continued his form of the last weeks with a second place. Together with the 11-year-old sBs-mare Angel van T Hof (by Chin Chin) Bruynseels stopped the timer at 44.92 seconds. Earlier this week the combination already placed 10th in the CSI5* 1.50m class. Aboard the Belgian Warmblood mare HH Fleur (by Darco), Werner Muff followed in a third place. The top five was completed by Pilar Lucrecia Cordon and the 11-year-old Belgian Warmblood mare Gribouille du Lys (by Quaprice Bois Margot) in fourth and Austria's Max Kühner with Cornet Kalua (by Cornet Obolensky) in fifth.   CLICK HERE FOR THE RESULTS
