Another exciting week of show-jumping action is in the books at Caledon Equestrian Park, with Rachel Schnurr and Tindale Farms' Prince Garbo highlighting the Summer Classic with a win in the $25,000 Grand Prix.

The victory came Saturday (June 30) evening under the backdrop of the Wines of the World event held annually at CEP.
Schnurr, who hails from Waterloo, ON., and Prince Garbo bested a starting field of 24 riders, coming out ahead of runners up Kim Farlinger and Stanley Stone for the red ribbon and top prize. Sarah Long and Warnike placed third in the class.  A day earlier, Schnurr and Prince Garbo just missed out on another top-3 finish, placing fourth in the $10,000 Open Welcome, presented by Omega Alpha.
It would be Cannington, Ontario's Sam Pegg riding Shaia de Macheco, who would claim top prize in Friday's Open Welcome. Pegg and Shaia de Macheco topped a starting field of 34 riders and horses for the win. Elissa Reisman and Citizenguard Cadjanine Z placed second, with Michelle Vandal and her mount Hawkwind's Princeton Hit rounding out the top three.'
The week's competition wrapped up Sunday with a series of stake classes presented by Omega Alpha. Jackie Henderson and Sandman placed first in the $2,000 Junior/Amateur 1.10m Stake. Lesley Martin and Alouette Platiere followed that up with a victory in the $2,000 Junior/Amateur 1.20m Stake, while Sydney Vince and Frieda took home top prize in the $2,000 Junior/Amateur 1.30m Stake.
