The evening competition in La Coruña off the day has been won by the Colombian Rene Lopez. It was a really exciting jump off until the last minute. The Spanish audience was hoping for a home win of their Sergio Alvarez Moya. But in the end Maikel van der Vleuten and Rene Lopez took the lead.
Rene Lopez was the last to come into the jump off. He rode Twig du Veillon (by Diamant de Semilly) in a time of 38.21 seconds around the course. A few hundredth of seconds slower ended the Dutchman Maikel van der Vleuten with VDL Groep Arera C. This 11-year old mare by Indoctro finished the jump-off in 38.37 seconds.
Sergio Alvarez Moya ended for his home audience on the third place. The rider rode Unicstar de L'Aumone (by Ninio de Rox) around in 38.39 seconds. On the fourth place we see Hendrik von Eckermann with Yajamila (by 103IU60) in a time of 38.85 seconds. The top five was completed by the Frenchman Aldrick Cheronnet with Aldrick Cheronnet (by Watch Me*hoy) in a time of 38.88 seconds.
